Star Studded Coaching Session at the
HIPAC
Over 60 Ivanhoe Robins, enjoyed a special Coaching Session at
England Athletics, had organised 2 Specialist Coaches (Flying Coaches
Scheme) to lead on our High Jump and Hurdles session. Steve Hughes, ex
International Decathlete, coached a very enjoyable high jump activity, while
Phil Fleetwood enthusiastically
delivered a number of hurdles routines.
Even Geoff Capes, who has represented his Country at 67 International
Events and won the Worlds Strongest Man Title in 1983 and 1985, made a guest
appearance at our Shot training discipline and offered our youngsters some very
useful tips.
Special Thanks to all our Robins, who were on their best behaviour,
worked hard, had lots of fun and were a credit to our Club.
